Pretty Bad
Probably one of the most inconsistent things I've ever had to deal with. I can barely get over 1.5 mbps and sometimes it will not work at all. However I can play online fps games on good days so it isn't all too bad. Going to college in a week so f*** century link I'll see you never again

The Worst ISP I Have Ever Used
CenturyLink seems to have a monopoly in my city, so they don't seem to care about providing service. For the last 18 months, I have had to reboot my DSL router monthly to get it connected to their network. There have been several weekends (usually starting just after close of business on a Friday) where the service drops and stays out for the majority of the weekend. When you call for customer service you get a recording that says that they are aware of a problem and that it should be repaired by XX:XX time. XX:XX time always seems to be 12 hours added on to what ever time of day you call. more...

Terrible
Century Link is possible the worst ISP you could ever go with. They will oversell in you area, which slows speeds immensely. This also led to my internet cutting off every 2-10 minutes from around 5PM-10PM, this happening everyday, because too many people were using the internet. They basically have monopolized our area and there are no other ISP out here so im stuck with .15mb download speed even though im paying for 10mb. Absolutely Terrible, i suggest to not even have internet if century link is your only option because with them its like having no internet. more...

S-L-O-W
Although they advertise 20 Mbps, any more than 1.5 Mbps is not available to us. Downloads as slow as 6 Kps at times. Can\'t stream video.

Worst customer service experience
Century link is the worst. Their customer service is only available until 6pm CST M-F which is incredibly unrealistic. Additionally, they start you with a teaser rate and my bill has gone up from $29.95 to $63.95. I was never notified and they were unwilling to fix it. Their customer service is rude and they are not worth the money you pay for this service. Also, they advertise speeds UP TO 20 mbps but the internet is SLOW. Stay away from this company. They will rip you off.

Found 5 yrs locked low price!
With so many high speed Internet options in my area it was hard to choose one. Thanks to ispprovidersinmyarea.com for showing all providers with plans and prices on one page. I decided to go with CenturyLink. $19.95/mo for 5 yrs is an awesome deal. No one in the market giving fixed low price for 5 years and speed is really good.
